Gauge: 14 Stitches = 4″ , 17 =Rows 4″ If your 14 stitches are less than 4″, then you crochet tighter than I do. You will need to adjust your hook size to a larger hook or more stitches per 4″ to adjust the total stitch outcome, or your slipper may be to tight. If your stitches are more than 4″ then you crochet looser than I do. You may need to adjust to a smaller hook or less stitches per 4″. Try it on after about 6 rows or so. You will have a good idea if you need to make it larger or smaller for your foot size. You will not have a lot of rows invested so ripping out will not be as painful. I like most? of your videos but this one, it’s hard to see what stitches you’re working in and you do not explain. It looks like you’re working in the same stitch.

Great video. I doubled up and used black and orange yarn with an “I” hook. Also on the opening I doubled up and used black yarn. Its more like Halloween slippers than anything else. Since, the opening became a bit loose, I crocheted a chain of 100 and weaved it into the last row of the opening as a shoelace and tied a bow. The slippers are already snugged on the foot which is great but now its? snug on the ankle. Thanks Teresa, you’re an inspiration.
