wonder how thinking about accelerating a bit later ruined your whole stroke
like you demonstrated? You did well accelerating early with those drop
feeds, but you won’t get those results against a strong shot while on the
move. Now that you have demonstrated the two extremes, maybe you can work
on doing somewhere between those examples??

Hey Pete! ….”Pistol Pete ” …… Remember your gunslinger video??? ????
The laying back of the wrist, getting into the slot” can be a nightmare for
people with limited wrist flexibility/the pros are all 90° or more, if you
can’t get to that, likely you can’t be a gunslinger!!! What do you think??

You’re dead wrong. This is how the second tier pros hit (Hewitt). The top
guys accelerate closer to the ball. ?

Pete, can you make a video on the way to master the drop, like the great
one you did with the serve. I think a lot of people mess up with this part
of the swing from the end of the prep, to getting the wrist/arm structure
set up below the ball properly (get in the split/power position) …… is
it a loop or is it a drop, and how to relax the wrist without losing the
layback. What is the way to isolate the correct wrist feel and create the
correct mental blueprint since we can’t see what we’re doing with the
    racket when it’s behind us.?

    Good forehand…!!!?

Great video Pete! There MUCH misinformation out there AND this is a very
problematic topic. You’ve hit on some good stuff here, particularly about
“what should you be thinking about” in timing your swing, the wrong mental
blueprint is what messes up so many players on their strokes! And
overthinking, and worse, trying to mimic the positions of a specific player
vs. focusing on core swing fundamentals.?

You literally sit down on the good shots. You sit down and power
    through. ?

    http://crunchtimecoaching.com/rafaelnadal/ Today’s tennis lesson may be a
bit controversial. It is on what I think the exact moment your should start
to accelerate the racket head speed on the forehand.?

You should say accelerate less. ?
