How Two Hula Hoops Will Make You a Better Tennis Player

bit.ly Imagine two hula hoops on your opponent’s side of the tennis court (you’ll have to watch the video to see exactly where each hula hoop is!). Those are the only two targets you’re allowed to aim at when you’re in a baseline rally with your opponent. Where you are on the tennis court is going to determine which hula hoop you’re allowed to hit at. Sometimes you’ll be permitted to hit at either one. The simple strategy we outline in this video is high-percentage and will have you winning more points the very next time you step on the court.

@gMEEE You can use both at the same time!
Thanks, Will
i like the shrinking the court one better. which one should we use?
interesting strategy…i’d like to have seen you play a point like this at the end maybe
@dvsk89 yeah u get like 4-5 feet of room for error
1. lower net in the middle
2. More court to use (larger margin of error)
3. easier to time
Going crosscourt will always be the safer choice because there you have the biggest margin lengthwise to keep the ball inside the court and also the ball will tend to travel over the center of the net, which is the lower part of it.
Plus, the natural motion of a forehand stroke sends the ball crosscourt.
@assailant85 Net is lower and since you are hitting diagonally, the court is longer than hitting down the line.
hey,
why exactly is cross-court easier to hit than longline?
I will try this tomorrow. Thanks!
