You may have lost respect for Serena, however I do not have respect for those who sit up on their high horse and judge human beings for making human mistakes. Unless you’ve played in a semi-final match at an arduous US open tournament and have gone through the frustrations of not playing as well as you have in the past, you should keep your mouth firmly closed. Many others have sworn at refs, like Sharapova and in the heat of the moment, many others will continue to do so. That is life.

MartialLaw….. I guess you have no respect for John Mackenrow also …and the many athletes who have lost their tempers over the years. You saying her family should be ashame is the most ridiculous statement made. She does “not” give tennis a bad name she personally will suffer consequences if there are any. Serena and her sister have done lots for the sport of tennis…. losing her temper and cursing out of anger is part of being human. it happens even to the best of us.

Shame on Serena Williams. I have absolutely no respect for her anymore after that ferocious and callous verbal attack on that line judge over a foot fault… She doesn’t even deserve to be playing tennis anymore honestly… She threatened to kill the line judge, shame on Serena Williams, shame on her family. She needs help. I am never watching her play ever again, she gives tennis a bad name.
