i mean Hingis
oh no.. she is a joke
she’s an artist on the court, steffi graf!
look at the shot at 4:44!
disguised slice drop shot from the baseline – this is one of many steffi graf’s underrated shot. nobody can do it better than her in the womens side. i know seles hates it. navratilova hates it. it fools them completely!
slice slice slice from the baseline rally,
then bam! steffi is pullin her opponents forward! and yet they’re nowhere near the speed of steffi graf! haha
Graf had unsurpassed speed and power in her prime, while Hingis was just very average physically. They couldn’t be any more opposite of each other. But Hingis was smart and it sometimes seemed she floated on the court. She was special in her own way.
Hingis is an amazing champion!
sorry it still Martina Hingis for me!!! martina is always be my best player of all time no matter what come back again martina please!!! for all your fans!!!
In your book. 5 slams and #1 ranking held for 209 weeks = champion.
Graf was 16 when she was defeating Chris Evert and Martina N…
Hingis was the ultimate game player, now no one can doubt her talent and her strokes but she will never be a champion
Monica Seles was DEFEATING Graf at age 16, not “stretching” her to 5 sets. Also, I agree with sp8211a…Hingis would never truly challenge Graf on court, even when Hingis was older and more mature as a player. (i.e., 99 French, 98 Advanta)
hingis was a 16 year old and stretched Graf at her best to 5 sets. come on…
not possible sorry
re-upload these movies man… the sound is simply unbearable!
This match foreshadowed Hingis’s future, she was unable to beat Graf in a major and despite all of her ‘GAME PLAYING’ with her medical timeouts..she only was able to dominant when Graf was out.
thank you for this. a 5-set treat
